Lydia is extremely competent and well informed. She organised our recent - amazing - trip to South Africa. She stuck to our budget whilst also giving us options. Lydia not only planned our itinerary but also took care of everything: She researched and secured our flights; she organised wonderful accommodation; created an information pack for us; checked us in; double checked our return flights even...She, or someone from Travel Counsellors was always at the other end of the phone so we were able to sit back and enjoy our holiday to the full. Lydia planned the most incredible holiday for us starting in Cape Town and along the Garden Route. When our flight was delayed by 4 hours, Lydia made sure that we were aware that we could claim compensation and helped us to do this. I recently engaged the services of Lydia, when my daughters and I needed to travel to Australia. I had never used a travel counsellor before, believing that I could arrange everything myself online. But my recent experience has proved to me that the true value of using Lydia to arrange travel. Not only is Lydia an absolutely delightful person to deal with, but her breadth and extensive knowledge and access to airlines and various accommodation possibilities is second to none. When the airline cancelled our flights (due to travel restrictions) Lydia calmly reassured me that she would contact the airline and sought everything out. And she did, without delay, without further charge and without any of the stress that I would have experienced if I had tried to sort everything myself. All along the way, Lydia was in the background making sure that everything went to plan and when changes did need to be made, she was able to organise that for us.
